Job Title: Director Technology - Asia Pacific     Responsibilities: Oversee all R&D and product development activity in the Asia Pacific region. Provide a technical interface between the R&D functions in the United States and the R&D functions in Singapore. Provide a technical interface between the global R&D functions to the engineering, manufacturing and product development functions in the Asia business unit. Oversee the scale up and roll out of new products to the Asian business unit, including applications and manufacturability testing. Serve as a liaison between customers and our company's internal operations with regard to new product introductions, technology initiatives and support of customer technical issues. Provide leadership and technical interface with outside testing or research organizations in order to advance the company's product and technology development initiatives.   Job Requirements: An undergraduate or advanced degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Polymer Science or equivalent engineering or scientific discipline. A minimum of 7 years progressive product development and technical leadership experience within the polymer, chemical, electronics, printed circuit board, advanced composites and/or microelectronics industries. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Strong work ethic and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to supervise technical staff and be able to travel to both our domestic and worldwide locations (30% travel).
