Harold Kwan is the Founder and Managing Director/Principal Consultant
of HRM3 Asia Pte Ltd. Prior to starting up his consulting practice,
he was with an international consulting firm, Right Management Consultants
as Director and Senior Consultant after gaining over 20 years of
senior management experience in management services, manufacturing
and human resources in the Asia Pacific region with the FMCG, travel,
manufacturing, engineering and consulting industries. His international
assignments with multinational corporations has helped him gain
valuable practical lessons working with locals, Asians and expatriates
from several countries in Asia, Europe and the United States.
Over the last 20 years, Harold has recruited over 300 senior executives
for companies from diverse industry, assisted over 500 executives
in outplacement and executive coaching programs, customized and
facilitated over 100 of strategic planning, strategic leadership
development, change transition, conflict resolution and team development
management programs, trained over 3,000 human resource practitioners
and presented over 30 papers relating to strategic human resource
management areas in various local and regional conferences.

Graduated in BBA from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT)
and later obtained a MSc. in HRM from Rutgers University, New Jersey,
Harold is also a certified practitioner for the 360° Feedback, Personal
Direction Analysis (PDA) and Strategic Leadership Development (SLD)
instruments and behavioral consultant for the Birkman, DISC and
MBTI systems. He has served as e-Career Counselor for the Nanyang
Technological University (NTU), External Examiner for Ngee Ann Polytechnic,
Part-Time Lecturer for graduate diploma programs in human resource
management topics with the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC),
the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM), the Singapore Institute
of Materials Management (SIMM) and the MBA program with the Curtin
University in Australia. Besides, he has also served as Reviewer
of HRM books for publishers, on a Panel of Judges for HRM Awards,
as Membership Chairman of the Asian Association of Career Management
Professionals (AACMP), Treasurer of the Singapore Training and Development
Association (STADA), Panel of Interviewers for the RMIT degree program,
Chairman of a company-wide Quality Vision Steering Committee and
Chairman of a Manpower Committee representing over 40 employers
with over 50,000 employees.
